- Riding my bike to the gym on Thursday evenings, then stocking up at Farmer's Market, and riding home with a basket full of goodies.
- Concerts in the Plaza on Friday nights. Great tunes. Old hippies dancing. Amazing beer. 'Nuf said.
- Being able to spend time with Kristen and Brian on both Saturday AND Sunday. Sushi date+Gus' patio+seeing fluffy Cheverson=happy L&K.
- AWESOME girls' night on Monday for the Bachelorette finale. Even though "Team Chris" was outnumbered 4-to-2, Emily and I were able to console ourselves with pizza, good wine, and guacamole. Plus, Chelsey has a friend who is/was a contestant on the next season of Bachelor, and she texted "Chris is sooo nice", so we're thinking he is the next Bach'. Love it.
- Getting so excited for Kiel's birthday celebration weekend! We have friends coming in from LA, Orange County, and FresNO and I have some pretty fun stuff planned for my mister. I've spent every minute of free time this week turning our bonus room (my closet) into the 3rd bedroom so we don't need to have people sleeping on the floor.

(reeeeeuniiiited, and it feels so goooooood)
- I've literally become addicted to yoga...my god, I can't believe those words just came out of my fingers. I feel awful; I've spent the majority of my time turning my nose up at the folks in the gym with their little mats while I was busy getting a "real" workout. Little did I know yoga can KICK your butt!
- Dear Environment, how much do you love us? We made it through winter with just one little heater for evenings, and now we're into August and don't have an AC or even a FAN. Top that with the fact we ride our bikes everywhere... I'm awaiting a knock on the door from Leo diCaprio with some sort of award.
- It's August...which means I'll be exploring Ireland with my favorite woman in the world NEXT MONTH. Giddygiddygiddygiddy!

- Oh, did I mention the day before we take off for Dubs we'll be cheering on the Colts' #92 (who just signed his 5-year contract this week!) at his first pro game in HOUSTON?!?! Sorry Texans, but these Houstonians will be wearing blue to the game!!!

So exciting that you get to go to Ireland so soon! Can't wait to hear all about that! And you're going to Jerry's Houston game? That's so cool. :)
Thank you for putting so much into planning Kiel's birthday celebration with his friends this coming weekend. Knowing your planning skills, it will be terrific. Also, spending time with your Mom is special anytime, but in Ireland, it will be over the top! So happy for you!
